    ZeroMQ

    ZeroMQ

ZeroMQ core engine in C++, implements ZMTP/3.1

ZeroMQ (also known as ØMQ, 0MQ, or zmq) looks like an embeddable networking library but acts like a concurrency framework. It gives you sockets that carry atomic messages across various transports like in-process, inter-process, TCP, and multicast. You can connect sockets N-to-N with patterns like fan-out, pub-sub, task distribution, and request-reply. It's fast enough to be the fabric for clustered products. Its asynchronous I/O model gives you scalable multicore applications, built as asynchronous message-processing tasks. It has a score of language APIs and runs on most operating systems. Libzmq is mainly written in C++98 with some optional C++11-fragments. For configuration either autotools or CMake is employed. For Linux users, pre-built binary packages are available for most distributions. Note that DRAFT APIs can change at any time without warning, pick a STABLE build to avoid having them enabled.

    Hermes JS Engine

    Hermes JS Engine

A JavaScript engine optimized for running React Native

Hermes-powered apps launch faster, thanks to build-time precompilation of JavaScript into efficient bytecode. Hermes is small in APK size, lean on memory, and starts instantly. It won't weigh your app down. It's simple to get started with Hermes in React Native apps. Hermes is open source and implements JavaScript standards. You will now be in a directory with the output of building Hermes into CLI tools. From here you can run a piece of JavaScript. If you have an existing app based on an earlier version of React Native, you will have to upgrade it first. Each Hermes release is aimed at a specific RN version. The rule of thumb is to always follow Hermes releases strictly. Version mismatch can result in instant crash of your apps in the worst case scenario. Hermes requires Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable

    DataScript

    DataScript

Immutable database and Datalog query engine for Clojure, ClojureScript

An immutable in-memory database and Datalog query engine in Clojure and ClojureScript. DataScript is meant to run inside the browser. It is cheap to create, quick to query and ephemeral. You create a database on page load, put some data in it, track changes, do queries and forget about it when the user closes the page. DataScript databases are immutable and based on persistent data structures. In fact, they’re more like data structures than databases (think Hashmap). Unlike querying a real SQL DB, when you query DataScript, it all comes down to a Hashmap lookup. Or series of lookups. Or array iteration. There’s no particular overhead to it. You put a little data in it, it’s fast. You put in a lot of data, well, at least it has indexes. That should do better than you filtering an array by hand anyway. The thing is really lightweight. The intention with DataScript is to be a basic building block in client-side applications that needs to track a lot of state during their lifetime.

    TURF

    TURF

A modular geospatial engine written in JavaScript

Turf is a JavaScript library for spatial analysis. It includes traditional spatial operations, helper functions for creating GeoJSON data, and data classification and statistics tools. Turf can be added to your website as a client-side plugin, or you can run Turf server-side with Node.js. Modular, simple-to-understand JavaScript functions that speak GeoJSON. Turf is a collection of small modules, you only need to take what you want to use. Takes advantage of the newest algorithms and doesn't require you to send data to a server. TypeScript definitions are packaged with each module. No DefinitelyTyped packages required. Turf uses GeoJSON for all geographic data. Turf expects the data to be standard WGS84 longitude, latitude coordinates. Check out geojson.io for a tool to easily create this data.
