Simutrans is a cross-platform simulation game where players try to successfully manage transportation systems between places by land, air, and water for passengers, mail, and goods. Planes, ships, trains, trams, trucks, buses, or monorails are at your disposal, but factories operate based on contracts and passengers can only travel to their set destinations.

OpenTTD is an open source transport simulation game based on the popular game Transport Tycoon Deluxe by Chris Sawyer, with several additions. OpenTTD is as close to the original as you can get, but has been extended with plenty of great features. These include bigger maps (up to 64 times bigger than the original), stable multiplayer mode that allows for up to 255 players in 15 companies, in-game downloading of heightmaps, AIs, scenarios, and so much more. GLUI is a GLUT-based C++ user interface library which provides controls such as buttons, checkboxes, radio buttons, and spinners to OpenGL applications. It is window-system independent, using GLUT or FreeGLUT.

spdrs60 is a graphical SRCP client to comfortably control a digital model railway. Visual appearance and usage comply to the original SpDrS60 German Federal Railway company locking table. A SRCP server (e.g. erddcd or srcpd) is needed as a hardware link. In cooperation with train controller dtcltiny (http://dtcltiny.sourceforge.net/) spdrs60 provides support for train automation.

OpenArena is a 3d game creation engine. It is a rendering system that can be used for more than just games but it is targeted at games. The basic use being create some game media textures models maps and config files for physics and rules.

RARS is the Robot Auto Racing Simulation, in which the drivers are robot programs. It is intended as a competition among programmers. It consists of a simulation of the physics of cars, a graphic display of the race, and a robot driver for each car.

iPDC is a free Phasor Data Concentrator that collects data from PMUs, and PDC/iPDC that are IEEEC37.118 Synchrophasors std compliant. iPDC do the time sequencing and combining of the received data as per IEEEC37.118 and send to other iPDCs, and applications on request. iPDC is able to archive the received data in the MySQL database on local/remote machine. PMU Simulator is also IEEEC37.118 std compliant. Software is built to be working on Linux platform.
