Jahshaka 0.9.1 beta Pre-release

Welcome to the Jahshaka 0.9.1 beta release! A year in the making and rebuilt from the ground up to run on Qt 6.9 with support for the latest Oculus libraries so you can build and explore in VR. All modules have been updated and we have opened up the asset manager to allow for a variety of 3D formats making it a powerful 3D asset management solution.

Key features of the release:

  • Full Qt 6.9.1 based codebase running on Windows, Linux and OsX (intel & M1)
  • Full cross platform, build on any OS and explore in VR in windows
  • Updated Oculus to latest libraries for Quest Link on Quest and Pro headsets
  • VR Support for Hands in Player and Controllers in the editor
  • Migrated all sample projects and scenes to run on Qt 6.9 codebase
  • Direct Support for OBJ, FBX, GLTF, GLB models

The Jahshaka Project is pleased to announce the release of Jahshaka 0.8! Jahplayer 0.2.0 Released!

The Jahshaka Project is pleased to announce the release of jahplayer 0.2.0! This update bring us closer to a final release and includes a host of critical updates that are certain to please veteran users and provide a more stable and satisfying experience to those new to the open source project.

JahPlayer is a professional grade media player capable of playing uncompressed video and image sequences at resolutions as high as 2K and 4K in real-time and features a robust set of image analysis and asset management tools. Jahplayer uses a completely hardware accelerated pipeline, allowing you to maintain the aspect ratio of the source media or change it on the fly, and is capable of both disk based playback and ram based playback.... read more
