Quickfry MUD News

Even though I plan to code the majority of QFMUD on my own, occasionally I may have a task for somebody else to complete. This could involve anything from documentation to programming. If I have a task that I don't have the time to work on I'll post it on the forums, pre-fixed with "TASK:". I'll include all the information I believe you need to know in the body of the message.

After a few weeks of not working on Quickfry MUD, I finally got my motivation back again. I'm writing to tell you of some changes in the project.

I am no longer looking for developers. I didn't need developers in the first place! I'm not sure why I started looking...

QFmud may be a MUD that uses its own client to interface with its users faster. Why is this? I'm considering file sharing as a possibility. It wouldn't be too difficult to implement, but the only problem I can see is we'll lose everybody who doesn't want to download the client. If we do create our own client, Stuart has all ready promised a PERL version.... read more
