The Fat Controller is used to repeatedly run other programs, like CRON. Unlike CRON it is able to run many instances of a program or script in parallel making it ideal for executing scripts that process queues or perform tasks which must be repeated.

This is exactly what I needed as an alternative to outdated crontab. I employ a lot of my computing power with scripts that run on a regular basis. Once a minute wasn't cutting it for me, but fatcontroller absolutely did the trick, and beautifully too! This should be any php developer's stopwatch... Thanks again Nick!
