Just upgraded to IMDBPHP2 v2.1.6 and still have the same problem as v2.1.5. The imdbsearch.class.php has a problem with the regular expression for movies that have a another identifier between the title and the year. For example, the movie Safe shows up in the IMDB search results as "Safe (I) (2012)" and the regex does not take that into account resulting in a blank year. I've made a modification to Line 151 in imdbsearch.class.php: if ( preg_match_all('!href="/title/tt(\d{7})/.*?"[^>]*>(.*?)</a>\s*(\([^\d{4}]\)\s*)?(\((\d{4})(.*?|)\)|)!ims',$this->page,$matches) ) { and Line 164: $tmpres->main_year = $matches[5][$i]; This seems to fix the problem.
