Kiro is an opinionated, flexible, and fully customizable Arch-based ISO project built on top of ArcoLinux. Its primary focus is on Ohmychadwm and Chadwm, delivering a minimal, keyboard-driven tiling window manager experience. Alongside this, XFCE4 is included as a reliable fallback environment, ensuring usability and accessibility when needed.
Kiro is designed to give users full control over their system. It provides clean, structured scripts and a modular build system that allows you to create your own customized ISO from the ground up. Rather than being a traditional “install and use” distribution, it is meant to be studied, modified, and rebuilt.
The default configuration includes:
* systemd-boot for boot management
* EXT4 as the filesystem
* SDDM as the display manager
* Chadwm / Ohmychadwm as the primary environment
* XFCE4 as a backup desktop
