mpp-viewer is a simple java based open-source application for viewing Microsoft Project Plan or MPP files. It has a similar interface as Microsoft projects and displays tasks, start/end date, predecessor, resource etc. Also, mpp files can be exported to Excel

So far, have downloaded the software and unable to open an MPP File with it. All I get is a huge blank white screen. Makes no sense, even though the software is Java based. Unless someone can help me, this software is not worth the time it took to download it.

The excel export feature is very helpful. However some features are missing e.g. gantt chart, resources etc.
