A lifesaver! Symantec was taking up literally 250GB on my hard drive with worthless quarantined program files, never would have found out without this tool.

It could be made so much better!
You could make it a TSR or Service in the background
You could give it more features, make it more interactive and more appealing, the times are changing, your app should evolve.

Effective example of visualization aids for a recurring computer task. Sooner or later, most will need a tool like this. (Though a disk crash works well, too.) It should be used with a dedup tool to maximize effectiveness.

I support an office with over 150 multi-user computers. winderstat let's you know who is a disk hog and who likes their mp3s. makes it easy to clean up space.

This tool is awesome. I was able to free up nearly 30 GB of my hard drive space that was used by junk.

Love it, with this tool, I found my windows\install directory was loaded 20GB and Thunderbird was using nearly 600MB. Knocked Installer down to 288MB and by compacting thunderbird's folders down to 8mb. This tool is great for SSD's when you need space. Thanks!

I had no idea that my kids had downloaded their entire iTunes video collection. A friend recommended this tool to help me figure out why my hard drive was suddenly full, and WinDirStat made it so easy to find. Love it!

I have it since... like it seems forever, and it's my best friend when I have to clean up my disks. Windows should have included something like WinDirStats as part of the default installation.
