A lifesaver! Symantec was taking up literally 250GB on my hard drive with worthless quarantined program files, never would have found out without this tool.

Great tool for finding clusters of space hogging files. I'd recommend this to a customer or friend any day.

Excellent tool, in a simple outllok you will find very quickly where your disk space has gone.

simply an awesome program. It really makes it easy to hunt down large files hidden in obscure directories, and the display is wonderfully intuitive. This is one of the tools i use to tune up my computer every month. also, congrats on the mention in the nytimes today!

I like this tool! It helps a lot finding what's big, old or unnecessary on your drive. And it needs no installation: just put it on your swiss-knife-usb-key. If I were to find a fault in it, I'd just say it lacks cut/copy/paste functionality in the context menus.

Effective example of visualization aids for a recurring computer task. Sooner or later, most will need a tool like this. (Though a disk crash works well, too.) It should be used with a dedup tool to maximize effectiveness.

This is one of those ageless gems you find from time to time. If you are helping people to set up programs, partitions, and drives, this is exactly the tool you can use to see what they have and where it is. The colours are a gaudy riot, a bit of fun on the side while you are doing serious work. If you like Nir Sofer's utilities or those of Alex Nolan, I'll bet you find yourself very happy with Oliver Schneider's WinDirStat.
