Luminar Neo

Pros: First, the product and its upgrades are great. As with any good program, there are times when technical support is needed to solve a particular problem. This is where Luminar really shines. The chat function as well as using emails to contact support is fast - no waiting for 20 minutes just to have someone plow through a checklist to try to solve your problem. The tech support is very well trained identified my problems and was able to give me a direct answer.

Cons: There is a learning curve but that is to be expected when learning a new product.

Overall: Excellent product and the support is prompt and solves the problem without bouncing around to try to find a solution.

Pros: Intelligent smart adjustments and fast replies to emails. The multi-frame batch mode is convenient and fast.

Cons: There is no cloud service. Burdens the machine when disk space is reduced.

Overall: I'm happy with my purchase because it's easier than Lightroom. Editing is easy. On the plus side, you can buy more editing apps and pay every two years.

Pros: The quick answers to my problem. Clear and understandable for me even though I didn't learn English properly.

Cons: Hat the service is good and the follow-up for problems is not dismissed with small talk.
But expertly expressed.

Overall: That I don't have to be afraid to get an answer to problems.

If I have a problem again I will not hesitate to contact you.

Pros: The discussion with the technician. The explanations via the emails received and the questions asked in order to solve the problem.

Cons: The crash after an update. I’ve had a lot of updates and this is the first time that happens to me.

Overall: The crash happened just before the weekend, no luck but Monday everything was back to normal and I was able to continue developing the photos for a contest.

Pros: Capabilities. ease of use. easy layout. Great for amateurs and pros alike.

Cons: Skylum has gone down the route of subscriptions.

Overall: I have used all Skylum Luminar products and have found them easier to use than others

Pros: Modern technology and easy to use. The interface is quite intuitive and easy to come to grips with. The use of AI was a leading example for others to follow.

Cons: Frequent updates with new features/changes can overwhelm those who are not constantly using the software. The price however will have to stay competitive with the competition.

Overall: Overall it's a good product and it is quickly becoming a viable alternative to Photoshop/Lightroom. Skylum has made many photographer tasks easier and fun to use

Pros: The program is very intuitive, easy to use and simply fantastic, it identifies the elements of the photo and creates modifications perfectly that adapt to the photo elements and photo lighting.

Cons: Until now didn't find anything that I didn't like.

Overall: Just great can edit a photo in minutes beautiful menus easy to learn just great the AI is amazing works very well scaling denoise color brightness editing works very well too.

Pros: I was ready to delete the application, but Anastasia's extreme responsiveness paid off. My sincere thanks to her.

Cons: Nothing special.

Overall: I use Luminar Neo only incidentally, preferring to use PhotoShop and the quality of my Nikon D850 camera, which drives me to constantly improve my shots.

Pros: It can be used as a standalone tool, and it can also be integrated to tools such as Photoshop & Lightroom. Needless to say, Generative AI feature improves efficiency.

Cons: It can be quite complex for beginners to set everything up initially. However, once you are settled, everything becomes extremely simple.

Overall: Extremely satisfied with what the tool offers, both as standalone tool and as a plugin for Photoshop & Lightroom. The pricing is more than fair.

Pros: Luminar support provided a quick response to my problem and everything ended with a great great result.

Cons: No cons to report, the support team did everything to help me [big thanks to Kyrylo from Luminar Tech Support for everything].

Overall: This is the level of support that all businesses should try and match, from start to finish they were Fantastic.

Pros: Luminar Neo is highly intuitive and therefore easy to learn, or re-learn after a break.
The support is exceptional as is the astounding number of enhancements, free or paid.
It offers incredible freedom in post-processing and discovery as you are immersed in the process.

Cons: So far, I have not encountered any cons in my work.

Overall: I tried other similar products but they were too complex for me. I had to work too hard and it restricted my creativity. My work requires freedom and flow and Luminar Neo fulfills all my needs and desires. And it's fun.

Pros: Perfect software for hobby using and professional using.
Very easy software.
Very intuitive.
Very fast.

Cons: Some courses are only available in English so please keep up with other languages.

Overall: I love how easy it is to make really great stuff. Also the AI base is so cool and fun to use and work with it.

Pros: Easy to use the package built in numerous functions ready to use with less time. I like the super shape functionality. it works both with a crop or full frame sensor.

Cons: Removal a large area takes more time. My friend who has used Luminar Neo still also thinks that PhotoShop can do this job easier.

Overall: I am a student photographer. In my mind PhotoShop is the tool to go. However, I need to take a community college class to use it effectively. My friend told me and suggested me to buy this software less study time and outcome as same as PhotoShop (actually I do not know if it is as same as PhotoShop but as of now Luminar Neo Pro does what I need)

Pros: Responses were very specific and precise. Customer Service reps were responsive asking for more data to resolve the issue. I emailed prolly a dozen times or more, and there was ALWAYS a good natured response, no matter how frustrated I got.

Cons: Sometimes the response time was not a quick as I would have liked and I would like some type of telephone support.

Overall: Very good. It was not possible to fix crashing software, so I was offered a new download of the most current software. very generous of Skylum, very generous.

Pros: Since I discovered Luminar Neo I’ve been in love with it. I bought because I can’t afford paying subscriptions and saw that Luminar Neo gave me the one time purchase option and bought it for that reason. Since then I can’t leave without it. Friendly interface, easy to use, offer a lot of awesome features. Thanks for such a wonderful product.

The support team has always resolved my issues and Im thankful for that.

Cons: I like everything about Luminar Neo and Luminar AI but I don’t like the fact that I bought Luminar AI on the App Store and now the app is not longer available.

Overall: Great support team, great softwares, great features. Love everything about Luminar Neo. Just wanna thanks for both products.

Pros: Service is really fast and great. While my message was initially send on French, responses where made by google translation (return original response in English include). Speed of response impressed me. The solution worked!

Cons: Skylum site is thick and somehow is not at best. But I did find where to ask for support.

Overall: Very satisfying experience. I am a dum moron on computers and the advices given where sound and easy to follow.

Pros: - the easy handling of the program elements
- the variety of extensions and additional program elements
- the additional software, sky, LUTs, etc.

Cons: At the moment I can't say or describe anything negative.
What would be nicer would be photo management, which is very simple with Neo.

Overall: Luminar Neo the best photo software!!
Neo is a perfect new development beyond the capabilities of Luminar AT.
Even if at the beginning you had to do without programming components that were used in AI.
But at the moment Neo has already caught up with all of that.

Cons: Gen Expand is not enough for my expect until the present.

Overall: I am using Luminar Neo every day, Adobe as add-on with Lightroom Classic. It is very useful image editing software.

Pros: Going above and beyond, Luminar Neo is such a great platform for photographers or enthusiasts to be able to grasp an quick understanding of editing with the best possible results, never letting clients down.

Cons: There’s nothing I dislike about the platform besides their pricing metrics, most times confusing, I used to get lost with which I should buy and the add-ons that stack the price towards checkout. I feel like simplicity could significantly help those who may struggle understanding where to purchase and what they’re getting.
