Luminar Neo

Pros: It is a very powerful tool for photographer to speed up the photo editing process. Grab it during the promotion period and the price is really affordable! Other than the application itself, the customer support is very friendly and helpful. Their reply is fast and are very flexible in terms of providing solutions.

Cons: Don't have a downside at the moment. More like a suggestions for Luminar Neo at this stage. The functions inside the application might still be limited at the moment, wish that you guys have a function like AI generative fill like what Photoshop have. Other than that, maybe can add in functions like rotate the photo while cropping the photos. I tried to crop and wanted to rotate the photo for about 10degree, but I can't see the options to do it.

Overall: It is a very nice product developed by a very nice team! Keep up the good work! Can't wait to use it to improve my overall photography workflow! Highly recommended!

Pros: Very easy to use/handle.

In relation to other products lower hardware requirements.
Absolutely perfect support (fast and helpful) if something went wrong.
Relative low price.

Cons: Maybe I am not totally experienced with this tool, but the possibility to change styles are rather poor.
Masking seems to be complicated.
Too few add-ons included.

Overall: A good software to develop fotos. Sometimes the styles are too extreme (color etc.) but you get a good value for the price. I would recommend that software to my friends.

Pros: When I purchased Luminar Neo, I bought it outright. I really appreciated this option rather than a monthly or yearly fee. Same with any add ons such as “focus stacker”.
Their customer service is really good! Anytime I have asked a question or have had any issues my emails have been responded to promptly.

Cons: I found Luminar 4 a little glitchy at times but I am very satisfied with Luminar Neo.

Pros: The older I get the more confused I get with details. Support is always very patient with me and my question. There is nothing they won't do to fix my problems.

Cons: I have no issues. I always get an answer to my questions.

Overall: Overall, the service has always been great. I have never had to wait very long for a response, and the tech people have never given up on me. My only reason for the "Good" ratings for Ease and Design are my aging brain. It's nothing about Neo. I'm sure most people will find everything Excellent.

Pros: Fairly easy to handle. The ergonomics are very well thought out: after a few hours, you have the impression of knowing the software for a long time. Artificial intelligence brings speed, efficiency and time savings. Its often astonishing results even make you want to “play” with the software. And when - like me twice - we find ourselves faced with a problem, we can count on very responsive and efficient support.

Cons: Some more complicated features would require a little more information or tutorials from SKYLUM. That said, there are countless tutorials on the internet, but not all of them are of equal quality, and they remain relatively general.

Overall: Post-production which is not too time intensive.
Besides, we come to use the software simply for fun!

Pros: I used to post product my pictures with Dxo and I got good results but with Neo sharpness and debriting are really amazing. I chose to work in APS-c for some reasons and with Neo I got pictures as good as full frame and I can enlarge very well.

The interface is intuitive and the design is user-friendly, making it easy for anyone to master.
AI image enhancement can perfectly modify photos with one click.
This company's after-sales service is the most professional I have ever encountered. They can respond to users' problems in a very timely manner and solve them quickly.

Cons: The highlight processing ability of the image is slightly poor.
If you use an older model computer, editing will be slower.
The layer function is a bit strange, and I don’t quite understand the logic behind it.
The reply to edit step feature seems not intuitive enough and difficult to use.
The promotional version purchased does not have the 4-6x photo magnification function.

Overall: I have not been using Luminar Neo for a long time. Overall, it is an image processing software that is easy to master. It is definitely easier to master than PS, and I can get very good results.

Pros: Ease of use. It does so much so easily; I can edit my photos quickly and so effectively. Much easier to use than PhotoShop.
Tutorials are excellent and show you how each of the tools works
Love the AI component driven features.

Cons: The export is clunky.
Overall the support is good; the people know their product; but the turnaround is 24 hours, which is OK but not great.
Google and others are catching up on the AI parts.
The versioning is confusing as different but similar versions are rolled out and then the old one is not kept as up to date.

Overall: Overall, I really like using this product. It is easy to use and powerful. While i have and have used other products, this remains my "go to". I found the tutorials useful and it would be nice to see them linked off the edit pages so one can get there more easily. I would also like a cloud version, as well, so I don't have to download and load the application. Finally, I found the versioning confusing as you support both Luminar AI and Neo and one wonders why not just upgrade the AI?

Pros: Great program for every photographers. One can enjoy every feature now available in the other program.

Cons: I have noticed nothing cons in it.

Overall: Neo is the best photo editor available in the market. I have tested every photo editor but Neo is something special. Background removal is the best feature I have noticed. It is matchless and awesome. One can get every feature and more in this program.

Pros: The Tool Amplifier AI are excellent. The structure of the photos are improved in color and contrast with little effort. I use these tools all the time and am always delighted by the top results.

Cons: For me as an amateur, I can't say anything negative about Luminar Neo.

Overall: The most important thing for me with photo editing software is the hotline. When I have problems with Luminar Neo, the Skylum support team is extremely friendly, helpful and competent. My questions were processed and solved within a short time by email.

Pros: Very good. The program very helpful and to the point. Some of the things the program will do are not known to me and not easy to use.

Cons: Some additional info perhaps would help. The Guide is not helpful in some items or is not arranged with info needed where I can find it, confusing.

Overall: Good but can use some better explanations and how to get to the information.

Pros: I obtain quick responses and suggestions about memory bug. Detailed analysis and suggestions. Follow-up until completion.

Cons: The link between the suggestions and your own analysis of the problem encountered is missing. The fact that ultimately it was me who identified the real problem of lack of memory due to its management.

Overall: Thank you for all.

Follow-up, support and responsiveness are excellent.

Overall: As a beginner I am happy to have Luminar Neo for editing my pics. Kind and helpful support to solve issues. I am glad with Luminar Neo.

Cons: *Luminar NEO has many extras such as extensions and features. But you cannot always purchase these separately when you want them. Sometimes these have to be through an annual subscription and sometimes purchased separately, which is a bit annoying.
* You like to be informed of new developments, but receiving a few emails almost daily is sometimes annoying
* A few options in NEO are rather hidden in the program and have no logical place in the menu
* The program offers a kind of workflow, but this could be improved a lot more

Pros: I have been using Luminar since almost 2017 and have loved it. It's fast, very versatile. It's easy to learn and get going with it. The presets and editing features are amazing. Skylum also keeps bringing lots of new stuff, like LUTs, Textures, skies, new presets filters, that you could use to enhance your photos. It's quite reasonably priced too.

Cons: Sometimes, the app just quits in the middle of the process and doesn't give any kind of errors notification. Other than that I haven't much encountered much cons!

Overall: Overall, I would highly recommend to amateur, or intermediate photographers to get their hands wet with lots of filter and preset options to get their photographs looking great.
