Time Tracker by eBillity

Pros: The compatibility with QuickBooks, and it's user friendly, it's easy to add items and employees, Not much to say.

Cons: Luck of flexibility or to add new columns, to us the opting to make standards notes . We uses phases for our projects and would love to have specific note to each phase.

Overall: Overall works fine, as we are looking for more detailed ways to report the work done we are encountering few problems.
I hope they are really working on adding a new field.

Pros: I enjoy the simple time entry interface and per-day/per-week time entry viewing options. I appreciate the LawPay statement credit.

Cons: For the last year or two we've been trying to secure a credit that was promised to our account but never applied. We've been asking for a few improvements but they have not been addressed. For example, changing $0 to NC on our invoices, automated text entries are not working, and we cannot add the LawPay payment link to the PDF Invoice. We have been told those improvements were possible and would be implemented, but they have not.

Overall: Overall our experience has been a lot of promises with very little follow through. The only reason we keep this program is because they hold our data and we like their spreadsheet-like entries. If we ever find another program with similar entry features we will transfer our business.

Pros: I'm a solo practitioner and the ease at which I am able to bill my clients, I save so much time.. and make more money.

Cons: There is nothing I don't like. As I stated above the program is easy to use.

Overall: Wonderful, it has help me stay ahead with my billing and increase my income. The clients also love the format.

Pros: The natural language search has become even better than before. The colors and the design are attractive to the eye.

Cons: I would move some of the icons around just for ease of use.

Overall: My overall experience is very good. I have not had the opportunity to use the product for more than five weeks, but everything is working well.

Pros: I can always merge eBillity with QB with my host provider without issues.

I recognizes new customers and deletes the old customers based on my entries in QB.

Cons: Cannot connect some of my workers.

The workers seem to have an issue finding the site and then logging into the weekly timesheets.

Overall: I have had eBillity for many years and i recommend to other accountants and attorneys when i have the change.

Pros: The ability to have multiple people track their time and download it to the accounting software automatically. Every minute counts and every minute gets billed properly with Time Tracker.

Cons: None. I really can not think of any, it does what I need and then there is more use with reports.

Overall: Customer support was very good at helping me integrate back with my accounting software when they could not support me.
Over the years of use, I find the reports very helpful for evaluating project profitability and estimating future projects. Indispensable.

Pros: Time Tracker is a "soup to nuts" time and billing software product for lawyers and others who bill by the hour. It's simple to use to record hours expended and the services provided. It's also an effective tool to keep track of recoverable expenses such as travel and the like. Invoices are also simple to generate and are highly customizable.

Cons: I find it is sometimes difficult to edit daily time entries after they've been input.

Overall: Our small firm has been very satisfied with Time Tracker. It's ease of use, coupled with with its functionality, makes it an effective tool for small law firms.

Pros: It serves our need to track our time. That is the way we bill in our office. I have used for years.

Cons: I do not like having to talk to support overseas. I ask to be transferred and they do but it is a pain to have to do that.

Overall: It has been great. We have used it since it came out. They raised the price and did not let me know which I did not like. I understand the need to raise it but tell me!

Pros: Cost efficiency, ease of use, short learning curve to fully implement, quick response if technical questions.

Cons: Nothing significant, some complexity in initial use but quickly resolved.

Overall: Positive time and billing software, used by me daily for all billing needs, have used for several years and quite happy.

Pros: I used the chat feature and I Kelly made it work perfectly. Easy to use and the chat feature bailed me out! Thanks Kelly.

Cons: took a little time to sort the sync out but Kelly fixed me up.

Overall: SO glad to have Kelly on my chat. I just upgraded QBs and had trouble uploading employee time cards.

Pros: Anytime I have an issue with Time Tracker.....which is rarely, I call in to their tech support and have my questions answered within minutes by a live person!

Cons: There are no cons to using this product. It is user friendly!

Overall: I had an issue with my QB and called Time Tracker to see if they could collaborate with me and get the issue resolved. Although the issue was on QB, Joann G. heard my concerns and went out of her way to help me! She was amazing and personable!! She cared so much and made me feel like she was a part of my team and cared about the success of our daily operations!

Pros: Kelly helped me set up vacation time for my employees; it was very simple to follow her instructions.

Cons: I had to ask how to add vacation time as I did not find it in help.

Overall: I had a good experience with Kelly; she was easy to work with and gave great instructions. I can now add vacation time.

Pros: It is very easy to use, the interface is well designed and intuitive. I provide professional services in billable hour increments to dozens of customers and eBillity is invaluable in organizing my time and allowing me to quickly generate monthly invoices through QuickBooks. The fee is also very reasonable.

Cons: eBillity is ideal, I don't even use many of the features as a solo practitioner without employees but I can see how useful it would be if I scaled up. I have always used it as a QuickBooks plug-in so I don't know if it has any functionality as a standalone or with other programs.

Overall: I have been using eBillity for the entire 11 years of my practice and never doubted my choice to use it.

Pros: Ease of use, adding our time via an app, the transferring of data from eBillity to quickbooks is wonderful.

Cons: Sometimes client names don't come off right away when you delete.

Overall: I've been with Time Tracker by eBillity for many years and it has always been reliable for my PR Firm. Our employees and contract workers say it definitely makes it easier for them to enter their time, website or app, and I can pay them quicker. In addition, the integration with QuickBooks for us, is also a big time saver. I definitely would recommend it for any business who needs to keep track of their hours in order to bill clients.

Pros: My rep was Joann Groninger. She was awesome!! My mobile app was not syncing, and it was stuck in the syncing mode for two days. Joanne immediately assessed the issue and got the technical team to look into it and she followed up with several phone calls to make sure she has all the information she needed to help move the issue forward. The next day when she called back and had me login to the mobile app it was fixed. I was more than happy with the attentiveness she gave this entire issue.

Cons: None really - just the syncing issue which I believe they said was a bug.

Overall: If ever I have another issue, I hope I'm able to get Joanne again to help or at least speak to someone like her.

Pros: We use Time Tracker to tracker our time billed for our racing clients. For a while, I was using the basic product and just importing the time but then needed something more in depth to track expenses. It is a bit of an expense every month and I wish there were some discounts offered for the product.

Cons: I don't like the expense every month for what I use and get for it. Sometimes the syncing from our employees devices does not always go through and we have to refresh everything.

Overall: For the most part it syncs well with QuickBooks and I can pull the reports I need for it. We are definitely going to continue to use it because it fits our needs and our clients needs.

Pros: Syncs easily with Quickbooks! They have done a great job at updating the software to remove glitches and bugs.

Cons: None come to mind. It did have some bugs when we originally started using it but they have really cleaned it up.

Overall: It's been great, and gotten better over the years. Syncing with quickbooks is easy and every time I have had a problem they have been able to help me solve it.

Pros: Easy to use interface.
Mobile and browser apps make it convenient to enter time from all my devices.
Eliminates double time entry/importing hassle.

Cons: Mobile app does not allow cut/paste in description text box, makes copying data between entries impossible.

Overall: Very good, saves me a lot a time every month and creates a smooth flow from timesheet to invoicing in QBO.

Pros: Keeping track of every minute for every client/project and allowing my subcontractors to due the same. Makes invoicing and paying so easy.

Cons: I don't like that if I forget to hit stop it will go on forever. I wish there were a threshold and if it goes over that time, I could get a text and the timer could be stopped somehow.

Overall: I used to used timer that came with QuickBooks and it got corrupted and discontinued. I searched and found Time Tracker. It pairs seamlessly with QuickBooks and makes invoicing a breeze. I really can't run my business without it at this point.

Pros: Kelly is a star. Every time I need help she fixes my problem. I could not use eBillity without her. Thank you Kelly.

Cons: Nothing. I deal with Kelly regularly and she is the best.

Overall: Experience is positive with Kelly's help. I don't have anything further to say.
