Aware that a demo is hardly representative, I tried the full game. On o--.g---.ru there is everything you need and I went to the hard way, installing from CD, ripping the CD audio and applying all patches. In D3D mode there are evident defects, but installing the nGlide patch & software makes the game very beautiful. This is my current profile. Next step could be to fix the D3D part, maybe being inspired by the DDC solution.

Have you ever tried to put some order and empty your cellar? Usually interesting and forgotten things appear. The same happens now to me while I'm trying to empty some space on my hard disc. I found this "Powers" folder with an executable that stubbornly refused to start, so before deleting it I wanted to understand what it was and possibly store it as a managed game. After some attempts, I found that this was the "Powerslide" demonstration program (a sort of a demo) released in 1998 just before...

Isnt the Msgs tab better place for No Ghosting? I'm not sure how the function called by "No Ghosting" works, maybe it doesn't read messages at all, so I preferred to leave it there, also because it could be handy possibly in all cases. Also what's the difference of Do not notify on task switch and Do not notift Task deactivation The "Do not notify on task switch" bypasses all window activation messages (both when activating or de-activating) while "Do not notify Task deactivation" just bypasses the...
Trying to make things simpler, I would suggest this: 1) download and extract the content of this bundle https://we.tl/t-ktNSXL61cAxtTsuy in a folder of your choice (e.g. "C:\Games"). Please avoid system folders like "C:\Program files (x86)" because they have rights limitations. 2) download and install the last DxWnd release from the SourceForge site (v2.06.13 here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dxwnd/files/Latest%20build/v2_06_13_build.rar/download ) 3) update the file dxwnd.dll with the copy...
