Gnome Subtitles 1.8 is out
I recommend that you install it from the official repositories. Example: https://community.linuxmint.com/software/view/gnome-subtitles and click Install You can check this link for installing apps on Linux Mint: https://www.reallinuxuser.com/how-to-install-applications-in-linux-mint/
Hi Ramona. How are you installing Gnome Subtitles? A recent version should be available in the Linux Mint software repository. You seem to be installing version 0.1, which would be 15 years old; version 1.6 should be available for you to install.
Hi, Do you want to change the font size in the video preview, or do you want to save a subtitle file with a specific font size for it to be played with that size with a video player? Cheers
HI Nicolás, In Ubuntu you should install the aspell-es package for spanish. Other aspell packages are also available for other languages. Best Pedro
