Hi all,
It's been quite sometime since the last post, isn't it? :-)
for who are impatiently waiting for a new yaacs release
I can say that it's almost here (I know we are quite late)
but in the meantime we're glad to provide a fundamental tool
to play with yaacs svn trunk version: tcliaxclient (via custom
deb repository).
As you know tcliaxclient provide to yaacs the ability to
use VoIP technology (iax2 - asterisk). Due to some constraints
we were not able to get our own patches included into tcliaxlcient
official source tree, so we thought that a good way to lower the
bar to get new version of yaacs installed was to provide to
every one who plan to use yaacs on a debian derived version
of linux an easy way to get VoIP up and running.... read more
That's mainly a bug fix release. There's no need to alter yaacs db schema if you're upgrading from a 2.1 version. As you will see from the Change log an upgrade is strongly recommended :)
This is a minor release mainly focused on performance and usability improvements,
of course it contains a lot of bugfixes.
From now on wel'l provide windows executable
for the joy of Windows user.
I'll hope you enjoy it.

YaaCs 2.0.1 it's a bugfix-only release as you will see from the following changelog:
* NEW: yacati warns users about invalid date on call-back settings before they try to save it;
* FIX: fixed a bug on closing "send IM" window;
* FIX: fixed bug #1552018; tclami used the same var to store the socket but if you connect more than once all was breaking up;
* FIX: fill in the table all in one shot to avoid some strange bug (e.g. #1552538);... read more

We've just commit to the CVS the last change that implements the new style of configuring the connection to the databases used by YaaCs.
It's now possible to configure all the parameter of the connection to the database used for the monitoring of the phone operator.
The style of the configuration file has a new (more readble) layout where you can insert some comments (begining a line with the tipycal #). For an examples of this new layout refer to the sample configuration file reported below:... read more
